SMART CITY TECHNOLOGY
WSS’ seasoned zoning and permitting professionals can work with the stakeholders of States and local municipalities with respect to “getting to yes” as it relates to deployment of “smart” wireless networks utilizing multiple available technologies to implement smart technology to enhance transportation, public safety, cybersecurity and local governmental services to create ubiquitous connectivity for uses including but not limited to:
Public safety
Smart buildings
Cybersecurity
Smart lighting and security cameras
Occupancy sensors
Public utility
Smart meters and smart parking solutions
Digital kiosks
Smart lighting
WSS can assist in deploying systems that utilize existing technologies and platforms to access and enhance the emerging Internet of Things (“IoT”) across the nation. This technology collects huge amounts of data and smart devices can utilize emerging IoT and Artificial Intelligence technology to collect and subsequently share real-time data instantly.
ACCESS TO CBRS SPECTRUM
WSS can advise as to how a carrier/operator can best secure and utilize available CBRS spectrum for its connectivity needs. In effort to address the shortage of available frequencies, the FCC opened 150 MHz in the 3.5 GHz band (3550 MHz-3700 MHz) for shared tiered access to this LTE grade spectrum.
In furtherance of the goals of the CBRS Alliance and OnGo, WSS can assist a prospective carrier/operator in gaining access to available CBRS spectrum to provide a less expensive, robust, reliable high-speed stable connectivity solution for private LTE wireless networks with performance that is significantly better than Wi-Fi used today for this purpose.
